The Summer Reading Club combats the academic “summer slide” through engaging reading initiatives, take-home activity bags, and exciting cultural performances.

Homework Centers operate year-round and provide critical after-school support through in person and online tutoring and access to free resources for school projects.

The need for access to the internet and technology has greatly increased. Wi-Fi hotspots, computers, and E-books are some of the libraries’ most checked-out resources.

Each year, the Fran McFadden Scholarship is awarded to a student who volunteers in one of MCFL’s library branches to help support their book fees.
